Great Heart Retreats
July 9-11 & 16-18
August 6-8 & 13-15

These retreats over two weekends are designed for people who have already attended a Great Heart retreat before.

Those who have not attended a previous Great Heart retreat are welcome to attend if they are able to fulfill the following requisites which will allow them to take the best advantage of the retreat:

1. Read the entire Great Heart Way book.
2. Complete all of the exercises in the book and record them in a journal to bring to retreat.
3. Attend a class on the first Friday of the retreat from 2:00-5:00 PM with the teachers. There will be an additional cost for this class of $30.
4. If the attendees live locally, it is highly recommended that they start a Great Heart practice with the teachers during the weekly programs at the Great Mountain Zen Center.

There is a limit of ten people for retreat. Six meals are provided each weekend from dinner on Friday through lunch on Sunday. Each weekend begins at 6:00 PM Friday with dinner and ends 5:00 PM on Sunday. An informal dinner of leftovers will be available on Sunday.

Participants are welcome to stay at the Abbey during the week days in the middle of a retreat. The schedule will include meditation, meetings with the teachers for guidance with the Great Heart practice and Voice Dialogue facilitation, samu (work practice), food and free time.

It is also possible for participants to stay at the Abbey for the entire time from July 9 (the beginning of the first retreat) until August 15 (the end of the second retreat).
